    Even if you have static conditions, the VA can still reduce your disability rating if they find a reason. In this video, I explain how veterans can protect their ratings from being lowered, even if they're not 100% Permanent and Total. It's important to be aware of what's being documented in your medical records and how often you're following up with a doctor to maintain your current rating. If you're not regularly seeking treatment or keeping your condition on file, the VA may review your case, which can lead to a reduction in benefits. Unfortunately, if you're not 100% P&T, it's only a matter of time before the VA might consider lowering your rating.
